GOSPEL THOUGHTS

Woman Who raised her voice from the Crowd

1) Extraordinary Woman

The very fact the bible refers to the Crowd it is true that a large number of people were following Jesus.

Crowd represents a large number of people who were following Jesus or had come together to listen to Jesus

It is true that there were many men and women in the crowd

But this woman becomes extraordinary person because she raised her voice to say Something

2) To raise ones voice in the Crowd needs courage

It is not easy to raise voice in the midst of crowd.

First of all one needs courage to raise ones voice

Secondly,  the spoken things should be intelligible and audible to the crowd

Thirdly the person has to make an impression while raising ones voice and needs to speak the the issues which is bothering very much at that moment

This woman had all these things while she raised her voice in the crowd

3) She raised her voice to speak the Truth and something good

This is very important. She spoke the great truth about Jesus

She spoke about the great truth of incarnation and the mission of our Blessed Mother

She hailed the greatness of a mother and her Holy Work of giving birth and nursing the Child

4) She raised her voice to speak for others

In her raised voice she does not boast about her achievements. She speaks good about others.

In her raised voice she proclaimed the greatness and goodness of Jesus and His mother

Proclaiming something good and great in the crowd is really wonderful.

5) She raised her voice to say that Jesus is an Extraordinary person

Ultimately the woman raised her voice to say that Jesus is an extraordinary person

She might have experienced the divine power of Jesus as she followed Him very closely.

Such an deep experience makes her to raise her voice and proclaim the greatness and goodness of Jesus.

6) Raising one's voice has a special Significance in the Bible

It is John the Baptist who said *I am the voice crying in the wilderness* John 1:23

*Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts* Hebrews 3:15

*Jesus spoke with a loud voice as He taught in the house of God. He said, “You know Me. You know where I came from. I have not come on My own. The One Who sent Me is true but you do not know Him. 29 I know Him because I am from Him and He sent Me.”* John 7:28-29

7) One who is able to raise his/her voice is a real Prophet

Raising of voice has a direct link to the prophetic Spirituality

A real prophet raises his/her voice either to speak the truth, or to speak good about others or to communicate the message of the Lord

Basically raising of Ones Voice has a close connection with *Truth* and *Fighting for Truth*

8) Today we need prophets who raise their voice to defend and to proclaim the Truth

Today falsehood is gaining its power everywhere. It is because many of us have failed to raise our voice against the falsehood and to defend the Truth

*‘The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing’* Edmund Burke.

So it is the Silence of Good People which cause the great harm to the Society

9) Am I ready to raise my Voice?

Like that woman Am I ready to raise my voice?

  • To speak the Truth
  • To appreciate some one
  • To speak good about others
  • To console some one
  • To encourage some one
  • To proclaim the Good News
  • To stand for the values
  • To condemn injustices and falsehood

*This is a great mission to be executed at this Hour*

*What are the possible ways through which I can execute this mission?*

*Think about it???*

God bless you and your family. Praying for you and your dear ones.
