22: 1-14
1)
Not an Ordinary invitation: King gave the invitation but the guests refused it
The king was generous enough to invite the special guests to the
wedding of his son
It was not an ordinary invitation. It was a invitation by the
King
When something is given by the King it is of great value. One
can't simply ignore it.
The guests who received this great invitation simply ignored
it.

The Height of Foolishness of the Guests
To ignore a invitation given by the king is really speaks about
their foolishness and ignorance.
They were ignorant about the great function of the wedding and
also the importance of it.
They failed to understand the benefits of participating in the
wedding banquet
They really lost a golden opportunity, which could have changed
their life for the better
3)
Busy in Farm Work : One went to the Farm
This person speaks about one category of People: Those who are
busy with property.
This is one of the areas where people become very busy in their
life.
All the time they think of amassing the property.
They think having huge amount of property is everything in
life.
Those people who are greedy for property they are not worried
about the invitation by the master
They do not have time to participate in the wedding of the Kings
son
They think participating in such function is a waste of time,
instead of that he can do something to gain more property

Second one went for His business
This person represents those people who are greedy for money
He went for his business ignoring the invitation of the King
only to earn more money
For him money was more important than the wedding banquet.
He considered money is everything in life and attending wedding
banquet is a waste of time
He was busy with his business which made him to ignore the kings
invitation.

Timothy 6:10: For the love of money is the root of all of evil
One need to be very careful about the love for money

Third guest : Mistreated and killed those who came with invitation
This guest represents those who try to fight against the
good
This group belongs to those people who hail falsehood,
injustice, gossip, misleading with false information, and exploiting the poor
and marginalized.
These are the people who fight against the servants of God and
those who work for the kingdom of God.
In a way these are the people who wage war against God himself
and they destroy themselves in this process
Such people do not bother about to respond to the invitation of
the King. They simply ignore it. But they heavily pay for it later for their
irresponsible behavior

King invited all categories of people
He invited those who are greedy for property
He invited those who are greedy for money and wealth
He invited those who will oppose/Spoil his wedding
banquet.
In spite of all these weaknesses of the guests he invited
them
This invitation speaks of the
- Generosity of the King
- Love and care for every one
- No discrimination and partiality from the King what so ever
- Open minded attitude of the king
- Tolerance of the king with all types of people
- His positive approach with all

God is our King : What is my response?
God invites me every day to the wedding banquet.
The wedding banquet is : Holy Mass, sacrament of
reconciliation, Sharing, Sacrifice, Following Jesus, carrying ones Cross, fight
against the temptation, Sacramental Adoration and Prayer life.
These are wedding banquet of the Lord, to which God invites me
and you every day. What is my response?
Do I ignore this invitation because I am busy with my work
Work for amassing more property, wealth, money, name, fame,
misleading people for my selfish motives, greed for power and authority?
When I am busy with the above things it is highly possible that
one ignores the invitation of the Lord

All were destroyed by the King
All those who ignored the invitation of the king were finally
destroy and their cites along with wealth, money and property.
So nothing of these will give you anything that will last for
ever.
Now think and act.
Do I want to accept the invitation of
the Lord or want to ignore it?
