*Need of coming Down and staying on a level Ground*

*1) Jesus came down and stood on a level ground*

The Gospel of the day has a beautiful, narration about Jesus' coming down from the mountain and standing on the level ground

This event we can see from the ordinary, physical moment of Jesus, that is Jesus' moving from one place to the another 

But we can also see this event from the theological and spiritual point of view 

*2) Coming down and Staying on the level ground - Theological perspective*

In fact the mystery of *Incarnation* is nothing but coming down and staying on a level ground

Jesus practically came down from heaven and stood on a level ground - this earth 

Jesus practically came down from His divinity and stood on a level ground of human nature 

Jesus practically came down from His heavenly glory and stood on the level ground of earthly creatureliness

So coming down and staying on a level ground is at the centre of Christ's mystery 

*3) Need of Level Ground*

The gospel tell us that when He stood on the level ground, He could meet thousands of people 

Many people came to hear His words and to be cured of their diseases, which was possible because of the Level ground 

If there wasn't level ground, it would have been impossible to meet so many people and to cure them 

Only on the level ground meeting was possible

*4) Human Nature was a level ground for Jesus to meet Human Beings*

As we know that Jesus came down from His divine nature, and stood among us through the Human nature 

For Jesus Human nature was the level ground through which He could meet millions of people 

Even today through His human nature Jesus is able to meet and influence, Millon's of people 

That is the power of coming down and staying on a level ground and working 

*5) Other Level Grounds to which we need to often come down*

The life of Jesus shows us the various level grounds on which we need to stand inoder to listen and teach His words 

The Level ground of forgiveness

The level ground of generosity

The level ground of love 

The level ground of sacrifice

The level ground of humility

The level ground of sincerity

The level ground of service 

The level ground of equality 

The level ground of faith and trust 

The level ground of reconciliation

The level ground of Conversion 

All the level grounds will help us to have a peaceful dialogue, which will help us to change our life 

*6) Coming down and staying on the level Ground is a continuous process*

This process has no end. It is continuous and it needs lots of courage and confidence

The more we practice this, approach, the more genuine we become and we can become genuine disciples of Jesus 

Unless we stand on the level ground, we can't get into contact with the another or with the divine

Bilbe, Eucharist, Reconciliation, all the sacraments and all the commandments are the various divine level grounds which are given by God Himself for our benefit. 

The question is *Am I ready to come down from my ego, narrow mindedness, pride, arrogance, gossip and other evil habits, and to stand on the level Ground??* 

*Think about it*
