*The importance of the roots of our Family*

*1) The Genealogy of Jesus*

The Gospel of the day presents before us the genealogy of Jesus 

It is nothing but the family History or Family tree of Jesus 

It helps us to see who are directly linked to the family of Jesus 

*2) Importance of Knowing the Genealogy*

This genealogy of Jesus also calls us to know the importance of persons who are involved in the family tree 

By knowing our origins, we get the picture of our own family 

Knowing our family well we come to know the actual situation of our life. This also helps us to bring some changes in our life 

*3) Genealogy shows the roots of our family*

Some people forget their past and think they are not the part of the their family

Some people don't appreciate their family history. So they don't want to be the part of their past history

*4) My genealogy*

Like Jesus' genealogy, there is a genealogy to our life 

How much do I know about the genealogy of my family?/

What are the benefits of knowing the genealogy of my own family?

*5) Genealogy has all types of People*

There are all kinds of people in genealogy. 

There are men and women,  

There are holy and wicked people in genealogy 

There are also great and sinners were 

So no one is excluded and God welcomes all to his kingdom 

Where will be my name in the genealogy?
