*Advent Season : 3rd Week : Monday*

*Gospel : Mt 21:23-27*

*First Reading : Nm 24:2-7, 15-17a*

*The Speciality of the Garden besides the Stream*

*1) Garden besides the Stream*

This particular expression comes in today's first reading

A garden besides the stream has many advantages

Such gardens get sufficient water in any season. So no fear of shortage of water

Such gardens are always look very green and beautiful

Such gardens produce much fruit

Such gardens will always attract many people towards its glory

Such gardens have full of life and newness

People always like such gardens

*2) Our life Should be a garden beside the stream*

The above expression goes very well to our life

Finally the goal of introducing such a thought in the Bible is to draw a lesson to our life

When our life becomes a garden, besides the stream, it becomes more fruitful, active, creative, full of life, attractive, and beautiful.

*3) Where is the stream?*

It is very important to identify the stream first. Accordingly we can identify the following realities as the stream of our life

Jesus our Lord and Master
The Holy Bible
The sacraments
Christian true spirituality
Service, sacrifice and generosity
Love, hope and charity
Sacrament of reconciliation
Holy Eucharist
Adoration
Respect for each other
Harmony between the religions
Prayer life

All these could be considered as the stream of true Christian life

*4) Where is My Garden?*

Our life is equal to a garden. If so where is this garden?

Is it besides the  power, position and wealth??

Is it besides, the worldly things, money, influence, and pleasure?

Is it besides, the gossip, hatred, division, and pride?

*Or*

Is it besides the love, humility, forgiveness, sincerity, simplicity, generosity, service, sacrifice, and sharing?

Is my garden is alive and active? Or already dying?

*Think about it*

*God bless you and your family. Praying for you and your dear ones*
