*Why Jesus went up to the Mountain to call His Disciples?*
*1) Mountain is Gods place*
There is a close connection between God and mountains in the Bible
Mountain is identified with God's presence.
God gave 10 commandments to Moses at Mount Sinai
God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son at Mount Moriah
God appeared to Elijah at Mount Carmel
Jesus was transfigure at mount Tabore
Jesus died on Mount Calvary
*2) Jesus Goes up to Mountain*
By Going to the Mountain Jesus is choosing a holy place with the presence of God for the beginning of an important mission
Mountain is always a place for the presence of God. So with the presence of the Abba Father, Jesus chose His disciples
By Jesus going up to the Mountain, the disciples were also made to Go to the Mountain to begin their mission with Divine Power.
*3) Mountain is in a higher place*
So Jesus when calls His disciples from the mountain, Jesus calls His disciples to a
#higher mission

*4) Bible is a Mountain*
The Holy Bible is nothing but the Holy Mountain
This Holy Mountain has presence of God, the powerful words of Jesus and other Holy things
Every day Jesus calls us to climb this mountain, to experience God
By reading Bible and trying to practice these in our lives, we become the people of the God and followes of Jesus the Master
*5) Are you ready to climb the Mountain*
Our Lord, calls us everyday to climb the Mountain
If so, am I ready to climb the Mountain of the Lord, to experience Him?
What are the efforts I make to climb the Mountain of the Lord??
*Think about it*
