*Ordinary Season : 12th Week : Monday*
*Gospel : Mt 7:1-5*
*First Reading : Gn 12:1-9*
*The Wooden beams in our eyes and life*
*1) The wooden Beam*
In today's Gospel Jesus speaks about the wooden beam
Beam is a huge wooden piece which is used for construction of houses or for other related things
*2) Wooden beam in the eye*
Since wooden beam is very big piece of wood, it can block the vision of our eyes
When such a wooden beam is found in our eyes, our vision completely becomes invisible
Having beam in our eyes means we are not able to see the reality in its reality.
*3) Effects of having wooden beam in our eyes*
Since this beam blinds our vision of the reality, it makes us to see something which is false
A eye with a wooden beam can see the following things.
Only negative things in others life
Only evil and bad things in tjr society
Only can see the short comings of others and judge them based on false accusations
Only can have very humiliating look towards others
Only can have angry look, revengeful look, selfish look, merciless look, towards others
*4) wooden beams and other areas of life*
Wooden beams not only in our eyes but else where also can be found
Wooden beams which are found in the heart makes us, people who are emotionless, which can be very dangerous for good relationship
Wooden beams which are found in our minds, can make us very arrogant and proud in our thinking
Wooden beams which are found in our personality can make us, very indifferent towards others and hypocrites
Wooden beams which are found in our relationship can make us, individualistic in our life
*5) Need to be very careful about the wooden beams in our life*
Since wooden beams are very heavy, it can't be moved to another place very easily
To move any of those wooden beams, we need the help of others. Only them we can move them
Only Jesus can help us to move these wooden beams from our eyes, hearts, minds and from our lives
*6) What are the Wooden beams I have in my life?*
Wooden beam of hypocrisy?
Wooden bream of duplicity?
Wooden beam of anger?
Wooden beam of selfishness?
Wooden Beam of revenge?
Wooden beam of pride?
Wooden beam of arrogance?
Wooden beam of pleasure?
Wooden beam of greed?
