Abraham's Children should do what he did. Disciples of Jesus should do what Jesus did

*Abraham's Children should do what he did. Disciples of Jesus should do what Jesus did*

*1) Abraham's Children and Works of Abraham*

The Gospel of the day speaks about Abraham, His children and their mission 

Jesus clearly says that one who claims that he/she is the descendants of Abraham, one has to do what he did 

One who claims that one is descendants of Abraham and does contrary to the works of Abraham, can never become the descendants of Abraham

*2) The disciples of Jesus*

All of us claim that we are the disciples of Jesus

Without any inhibition we claim that we are followers of Jesus 

If so, the same logic applies to us also. We should do what Jesus did 

*3) The Works of Jesus*

Jesus' main work can be summarised in the following way 

Fight against devil and sin 

Fight against hypocrisy

Fight against pride and arrogance

Fight against unjust policies

Fight against injustice 

The mission of forgiveness

The mission of sacrifice

The mission of service

The mission of accepting suffering 

The mission of love 

The mission of self-sacrifice

The mission of humility 

The mission of truthfulness 

*4) The Work of Jesus in my life*

Do I attempt to carry out the works of Jesus? 

Do I fight against the devil and his kingdom? 

Which are the works of Jesus I am familiar with? 

What are the hurdles which block the mission of Jesus in my life?
