*1) Christmas is the celebration of God's Humility*
Christmas is the celebration of multiple things
First of all it is the celebration of God's humility
God humbled himself to come down to this world, as a simple human being
Sacrificing his Heavenly throne and coming into this world as human being shows the height of God's humility
*2) Christmas is the celebration of God's Love*
This is the celebration of God's Love
Christmas feast speaks highly about the Love of God towards human beings
For God so loved the World he gave his only Son to us.
This is the depth of God's love
*3) Christmas is the Celebration of God's faithfulness*
In Christmas God's promise becomes complete
It is the fulfilment of Long Standing promise of God
This feast reminds us that God is ever faithful to his promises
We need to celebrate the God's faithfulness towards us
*4) Christmas is the Celebration of God's Sacrifice*
God sacrificed His only Son for our sake
Jesus sacrificed his divine throne to come to this world, in order to save human beings from the bondage of sin
The sacrifice is the central point in God becoming man, that is Emmanuel
*5) Christmas is the Celebration of Peace*
When Jesus was born angels sang the heavenly song highlighting the peace to those of Good will
Peace is another important point in the celebration of the Christmas
*6) Christmas is the Celebration of Giving*
In the Christmas story every one gives.
God gave his only son
Mary gave his life to God's mission
Joseph offered his life for God's Mission
Angels gave praise to God
Animals gave the place for the birth of Jesus
Every one is giving
What I am giving?
*7) Christmas is the celebration of being in God's company*
Christmas means *Emmanuel*, God is with Us
Being with God is a great celebration
So Christmas is being with Jesus and celebrating for this opportunity
So from many angles Christmas is nothing but the celebration of many things
Am I able to celebrate and share the joy of Christmas??
*Think about it*
