*The Speciality of Mary's Yes to the Lord*

*1) Mary and Yes*

In the Life of Mary, Her *Yes* to the Lord has a special significance

This *Yes* completely changes the direction of her life and the direction of the Human History

This *Yes* becomes a special moment the the Salvation History and the Salvific plan of God.

In other Words the Salvific plan of God becomes a reality from the moment Mary said *Yes* to the Lord

Mary's *Yes* has a following important reflections

*2) Trust in God’s Plan*

Mary’s response to the angel Gabriel demonstrates complete trust, even in the face of uncertainty.

She accepts God’s will without fully understanding the implications.

She fully relies on the providence of God. This is nothing but the height of her faith

*3) Humility and Servanthood*

Mary acknowledges her lowly status but does not resist God’s call.

Her humility allows her to become a vessel for God’s work.

Mary's *Yes* teaches the value of humility in responding to God’s call. She does not seek glory for herself but glorifies God through her acceptance

*4) Courage in the Face of Challenge*

The great challenge Mary had to face from the Society

The challenge of Being misunderstood by the society and the risk of being stoned to death, and other challenges as well

Yet, she embraces God’s will with courage.

*5) Collaboration with God’s Plan for Salvation*

Mary’s *Yes* allows God’s redemptive plan to unfold through the Incarnation of Jesus Christ.

Her *Yes* is a very significant moment  in salvation history.

*6) Joy in Obedience*

Mary's *Yes* finally resulted in being chosen by God

Thats why in her Magnificat, Mary expresses joy and gratitude for being chosen to serve God’s purpose.

*7) Faithful Listening*

This is the another important aspect of Mary's *Yes*

Only one who listens carefully can understand and say *Yes*

Mary's *Yes* may inspire us to say listen to the voice of God and to say *Yes* to his will

How about saying Yes to God's will in my Life?

*Think about it*

*God bless you and your family. Praying for you and your dear ones*
