*Easter Season : 4th Week - Thursday*

*GOSPEL - Jn 6:35-40*

*First Reading - Acts 8:1b-8*

*I will not reject anyone who comes to me*

*Various ways of Coming to Jesus*

*1) Coming to Jesus is very important*

In today's Gospel Jesus makes it very clear that one needs to go to Jesus for everything

A person who willingly goes to Jesus for any favour, or guidance will not be deceived but will save his life for greater things 

There is no question whether Jesus will accept or reject a person who goes to Jesus. Jesus makes it very clear that one who goes to Jesus will be accepted by Jesus, irrespective of his state of affairs 

*2) Various ways of Going to Jesus*

There are many ways which leads one to Jesus by their very nature. They are the following 

*A) The way of Forgiveness* This way automatically leads one to Jesus. A person who is able to practice forgiveness is with Jesus 

*B) The way of Humility* Jesus himself is the great example for this. This way directly leads one to Jesus 

*C) The way of Sacrifice* Jesus is the perfect model for this way. Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross is the foundation for all the sacrifices. This way once again leads to Jesus 

*D) The way of Love* This way is like a bridge which connects and leads one to Jesus 

*E) The way of service*  One of the best ways to find Jesus in others, which helps us to reach Jesus through others 

*F) The way of Generosity* Another powerful way which leads one to Jesus directly 

*G) The way Sharing* This needs lots of good will. But one who has this way surely can reach to Jesus

*H) The Way of Prayer* The Shortest and the most powerful way to reach to Jesus 

*I) The other ways* Concern for the poor and needy, fighting for truth and justice, hard work, sincerity, faithfulness, etc. are other powerful ways to reach Jesus 

*3) Is my life's Journey moving towards Jesus*

This is one of the important questions to reflect 

One can't take liberty in reflecting this question 

The evaluation of our life based on these above ways will tell us whether we are moving towards Jesus or moving away from Jesus 

*4) Speed is immaterial but direction should be right*

Some times we may think how fast I am moving towards Jesus 

But one important thing to remember is that, we may move very fast but if the direction is wrong, then we will reach no where 

So even if you are moving at a low speed, but if the direction is right, then sooner or later you will reach 

So make sure of the direction of your life's journey

*5) My Life and various ways*

As I reflect the above ways, which are the powerful ways I have in my life which leads me to Jesus? 

Which are the other ways, those can be adapted in my life in order to reach Jesus in my day today life?
