GOSPEL THOUGHTS
*Easter Season : Fourth Week : Wednesday*
*Gospel : Jn 14:6-14*
*First Reading : 1 Cor 15:1-8*
*I am the Way*
*1) Importance of the Way*
“There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way. There is no way to peace, peace is the way. There is no way to enlightenment, enlightenment is the way.” ― Thich Nhat Hanh,
In the same way, there is no way to heaven, Jesus himself is the Way
There is not way to Holiness, Jesus Himself is the way to Holiness
In Christian life there is no difference between the Way and Jesus. *Jesus is the Way and Way is Jesus*
*2) Search for the Way*
A person who has lost the Way in the desert, understands the way to come out of the desert
A person who has lost the way in vehicle, knows how difficult to reorganise the whole journey
A person who realises that he/she has lost his/her way in life, knows the loss that caused by losing the right way
So right way always brightens the Life and wrong way destroys our life
*3) Jesus The Way*
Jesus does not say that I will show the way but Jesus says *I am The Way*
There is a lot of difference between I will show the way and I am the Way
When Jesus says I am the way, Here Jesus is everything. There is nothing beyong Jesus
*4) The Way of Jesus*
How to understand this phrase - *I am the Way*
These are the qualities of this Way
The way of Love
The way of sacrifice
The way of cross
The way of humility
The way of sincerity
The way of simplicity
The way of generosity
The way of Service
The way of sharing
The way of prayer
The way of selflessness
The way of compassion
When we follow these qualities in life, we represent Jesus who is the Way
*5) Way leads to destiny*
Right way always moves towards the destiny
Speed is irrelevant if you are going in the wrong direction.”
Mahatma Gandhi once said those words, and they're painfully true — no matter how fast you're progressing, you will not reach your destination if you're not going in the right direction.
*6) Have I found my way?*
Where is my way?
In what does my way consists in?
Am I moving in the right direction?
Have I found my way?
*Think about it*
*God bless you and your family. Praying for you and your dear ones*
