GOSPEL THOUGHTS

*Ordinary Season: Thirty Second Week : Thursday*

*Gospel : Lk 17:20-25*

*First Reading : Phlm 7-20*

*Responsorial Psalm : Ps 146:7, 8-9a, 9bc-10*

*Signs of the Kingdom of God*

*1) The Presence of the Kingdom of God*

The question about the Kingdom of God and the presence of the Kingdom God is highlighted in today's Gospel

Jesus says, *the Kingdom of God is among you.*

So it is already among us. We need to experience it. So how do we realise and experience the Kingdom of God?

*2) Various Signs of the Kingdom of God*

Kingdom of God can't be seen but can be experienced by everyone. Following are some of the Signs of the Kingdom of God

*A) KOG is present in the family*

Family is the best place to experience the Kingdom of God. Family has the foundation in Trinity. Our family is the reflection of the Holy Family. So KOG is very much present in the family

*B) KOG is present in the Service*

Service is another name of the presence of the KOG. Jesus' ministry is only filled with service to the other

*C) KOG is present in the Sacrifice* Sacrifice is the direct reflection of the KOG. Where there is sacrifice, there lies the KOG. Jesus' life is the best example for sacrifice

*D) KOG is present in the forgiveness*

It is the quality of the KOG. Forgiveness can work only when there is the KOG. Jesus is the best model for forgiveness

*E) KOG is present in the Cross*

Cross can't be taken away for the KOG. Wherever there is Cross, KOG is already present in and through the Cross

*F) KOG is present in Love*

Love is God. God is Love. Love is KOG and KOG is Love. Love makes all things possible. So KOG can be experienced through love

*G) KOG is present in the Gospel Values*

Gospel values like, humility, truthfulness, service, simplicity, generosity etc are nothing but the various wings of the Kingdom of God. Through these values one can really experience the KOG

*3) KOG and My life*

How do I feel KOG in my life?

Am I able to experience it in my daily life?

Am I able to experience it in my family?

How can I experience in my surrounding the KOG?

*Think about it*

*God bless you and your family. Praying for you and your dear ones*
