GOSPEL THOUGHTS
*Advent Season : 4th Week : New Liturgical Year : Sunday*
*Gospel : Lk 1:26-38*
*First Reading : 2 Sm 7:1-5, 8b-12, 14a, 16*
*Second Reading :Rom 16:25-27*
*How can this be? Various possibilities*
*1) How can this be?*
This is one of the fundamental questions of our life
Many times in our life in different situations, we ask this question in our life
How can this be? Makes us to think various possibilities, even thought at the peripheral level there appears a denial
*2) Purely Human way of Thinking*
First of all Mary thought in terms of Human possibility
Thats why the expression *since I have no relations with a man?”* how can this be possible
From human point of view Mary was 100% right such a thing is not possible. This is the fact of life
*3) Divine Approach*
Apart from human approach there is also another approach which is called the divine approach
In this incident the angel Gabriel tries to convince Mary about the divine approach
The Angel Gabriel said *The Holy Spirit will come upon you, andd the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.*
This is the divine approach which was aeecpted by Mary
*4) Divine Approach brings great miracles*
In Human approach there may not be miracles. But in divine approach there are great miracles
May conceived Jesus in a miraculous way
Mary praised God in a miraculous way
Mary went to Elizabeth's house to serve as a pregnant woman. Another miracle
Mary became the Mother of God
Mary received the strength to face any kinds of challenges
*5) What is my Approach?*
Having reflected about the divine and Human approach, what is my approach?
Do I cling to the human approach?
Do I find difficult to detach myself from human approach?
Do I relay on Divine approach?
How far do I relay on divine approach?
Why divine approach is very important for me?
*Think about it*
*God bless you and your family. Praying for you and your dear ones*
