Jesus in the Manger

GOSPEL THOUGHTS

*Christmas Season  : Christmas Feast*

*Gospel : Jn 1:1-14*

*First Reading : Is 52:7-10*

*SECOND READING - Heb 1:1-6*

*Jesus in the Manger*

*1) The place of the Manger*

The manger is found in the Cowshed

The situation in the cowshed is quite interesting

There is a kind of smell
There is a kind of confusion
There is no full freedom. Animals are tied
There is a kind of cry in the cowshed
Different varieties of animals are found in the cowshed

*2) Jesus' birth brings a change in the Cowshed*

The moment Jesus takes birth in the manger the situation changes

The animals become very alert

There is a feeling of  some special presence in tha cowshed

The entire mood in the cowshed changes with the arrival of Jesus

*3) Our Life and Cowshed*

Our life is like a cowshed

There is a some kind of smell of the sins

There is some kind of confusion in our life

There is no real freedom in our life because of our bodily weaknes

Life is similar to the Crib or Cowshed

*4) The Bith of Jesus in my life*

As the birth of Jesus changed the situation in the cowshed the same Jesus who takes birth in our heart, who causes a great amount of change

The smell of our sins goes away

The confusion is handled in a better way and a clear way becomes visible in our

All things are executed in such a way that the concept of confusion vanishes. This is possible only because of the presence of Jesus

*5) Where is the birth place of Jesus?*

This is a very serious  and most important question

We need to find an answer fie this question

When Jesus takes birth in our life the situation of our life will change

Am I ready for the birth of Jesus?

*Think about it*

*God bless you and your family. Praying for you and your dear ones*
